Bible Study

Leaders: Carol Cheruiyot, Dallas/Plano group, and Evelyn Ngetuny, Grand prairie/Fort Worth group

Bible study groups are very important as they offer an learn from this church history that the church grew into being naturally from a Bible study group. We understand church is not only on Sunday activity but continues to all days of the week. Bible studies groups have made this experience a reality. These are smaller groups of who people read the Bible and grow in faith together but also fellowship and get to know each other in a deeper level. This is where true church ministry happens where people’s needs are ministered to, joys are celebrated, and the whole church is involved. We have different ways of doing the bible study including weekly study of different books of the bible, a scripture reading and discussions and even through audio visual teachings. David said in Psalms 86:16,”teach me your way” and on the same breath he says in Psalms 119:36,”Incline my heart unto your testimonies.” What we do in our small groups is a great testament to even what the early Christians used to do as they met in small groups as “witnesses” and they were always in one accord as they shared the word of God and were always praying and breaking bread together.

As we aspire to grow deeper  in our relationship with the lord, we stand by the word of II Tim. 3:16-17, that “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”

In these groups, have a safe environment to seek the lord and encourage one another in faith and in our walk with the lord. We encourage every member to join any of these groups and we will have fun together as we learn the ways of the lord through his word as we fellowship.
