Our Pastor

Pastor Daniel Korir

[column four-fifths]

It was in April 1994 when Dan was a student at Egerton University when he gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior.

It happened while he was reading Psalms 119:130 that he had this experience that changed his life for good. For the next several months,
Dan spent most of the time searching the scriptures and establishing deeper and very intimate relationship with the lord.

He became an active member of the university Christian union until his graduation.

After graduation Dan became a Math and Chemistry teacher at Kipchimchim high school where he also became the CU patron.

His gift of preaching was noticed by other Christian leaders, and was invited to speak in many high schools and churches from the then Kericho, Bureti,
Bomet and Kakamega districts. A pastor from Busia, Uganda who Dan never met before, discerned Dan’s desire and God’s calling on his life and informed
him to wait on God for He was going  to call him into full time ministry some day.

Dan came to USA about ten years ago after winning a green card. He has since then earned his masters degree and is currently pursuing a PhD degree in in Chemistry at UNT.

He is happily married to his loving wife Susan Korir, formerly Susan Chesire, who has a true serving heart, besides working as Nurse practitioner.
She is the pivot in Dan’s life and a coworker in the ministry. She never misses any church function where she also serves in the praise and Worship team.

Pastor Dan is a true gifted speaker and a leader, who has a passion for God’s ministry.
He believes that a true church worship brings people to intimate time with God.

Pastor Dan also believes that a successful ministry is not a one man show but a team of individuals
who God uses in submission to the Holy Spirit to bring glory and honor to Jesus the author and the finishier of our faith.
